I created these examples for someone who emailled me and thought that I should share them here too, incase anyone else was wondering. This shows just a few ways you can customise the one template. Going beyond just changing colours you can create many looks.
I have a little gift for you too. I made the first example here into a card you can all use. It’s a png with a hole cut out for the photo. Just drag your photo under the card layer and resize to fit. You can download it {here}. Normal TOU apply. You may use this photo to create cards for your photography clients or personal use. You may NOT use the card in a pack for resale or distribute in any way. If you’d like to share the card with your friends, please just point them in the direction of this blog post. Remember… stealing is not nice! Cheers!
Well… it’s all over. Australia came 6th in the overall medal tally with 14 gold medals. Soo… the next SIX people will receive 14% off their purchase using the code OZMEDAL at the checkout!
After looking through the entries and designing the christmas cards I’m really getting in the mood! Do you think it’s too early? LoL

Please vote in the poll. You will only be able to vote once. It is ok to post a link to the blog for voting but please keep it fair - do not identify your photo and ask for specific votes. Voting will close midnight Friday 29 August AUSTRALIAN time. This is Sunday 9am Central American Time. Oh - and don’t forget to check out the sponsors!
The first set of holiday cards are in the store and ready to go.
These 5×7 cards are designed front, back and inside too. You can choose to mix different insides with different fonts or keep them the same. There is one horizontal back and one vertical back included. There are 4 vertical and 4 horizontal designs as well as 2 5×5 trifolds included.
You will receive layered .psd files. Using a hue/saturation layer on colorise you can change the colours if you choose. The text may be removed and replaced and the cream mats on the insides can be turned off. Each inner flap has a full size photo that clients will love.
A new line of templates will be hitting the store. We all love custom made items but sometimes we need something quick and easy. Dash into the store, try these on and you’ll be able to pull them out whenever you need, for whatever you need. It’s a ‘one size fits all’ answer.
The first Off The Rack item are the ‘Round the Bend card templates.

You can change the colours easily with a quick click of the mouse. These come with a coloured insert for horizontal and vertical cards as well as a photo mat for the inner flap of both horizontal and vertical cards. There is a standard back included for you to place your logo or other information. The trifolds are designed inside and out, with a plain back. These can be used as holiday cards, announcements, mailers, invitations… the only limitation is your imagination.
If you have any questions about any of the card templates, leave a comment on this thread. I will regularly update this post to share the answer with everyone.
All through the Olympics we hear the stories of athletes that have battled against the odds to get where they are. This isn’t the worst story but since she won Silver for us yesterday Anna Meares is the one inspiring today’s snap sale.
Seven months ago Anna Meares broke her back. If she had of broken it 2 millimetres away (from where she did brake it) she would have been a quadriplegic and may have even needed a ventilator for life. WoW. Seven months? I’m always afraid that if something like that ever happens to me that I wont be able to face it. The people who do amaze me… their determination, their outlook on life, their strength and courage.
So… Anna won silver for us after there was some shoving from the Chinese in an earlier race that had them disqualified!
So… snap sale? Hmm… the next 7 people to purchase the Vibe Tall Tales Storyboards can use the coupon AMSILVER at the checkout and receive them for HALF PRICE - that’s less then $1 for each storyboard!!! There is no end date on this offer - but it is only available to the first seven people.
Australia currently has 29 medals in total so YOU can snap up any action or preset set (for PS, PSE, ACR & LR) for 29% off for the next 24 hours! Woo hoo!!! Now you’re only problem is… which one?
Oh yeah - since I’ve been so slack I’m extending the deadline for the photo contest to 20 August @ midnight Australian time. Check the post below for details and get those photos in! You’ve gotta be in it to win it (as they say).
And just for fun… I wanted to share this photo. I’ve been working with my lights this last week (quite possibly WHY I haven’t posted in so long) and after wanting to throw them out the window I finally came out with this shot:
The prizes are:
1st prize - VIP Membership to Phaunt Forum & $50 vibe voucher
2nd prize -iCorrect One Click Plug-in for Photoshop from PictoColor
3rd prize - $40 Gift Certificate from JLee Albums
The theme for the contest is C H R I S T M A S T I M E !
I do realise that most people have not taken christmas photos for this year yet. You CAN enter old images for this contest. They don’t have to be people photos either… a shot of your tree, food, decorations, etc - surprise me!
You have a week to submit your photo and be in with a chance of winning one of the great prizes above!
Please Note:
I can’t peek over your shoulder to be sure so I’m hoping you’ll all respect the honour system. Photos should be taken by you only. 1 entry per person only. If you send me one, and then change your mind that’s ok, so long as you let me know in the time frame. Please do not watermark your photos (so the voting will be fair). Resize your photo no longer the 450px on the longest side and send to vibephoto@gmail.com. 10 finalists will be chosen from the entries and you will then have a week to vote for the winner via a poll right here on the blog. If you have any questions, post here in the comments so that others can be helped by the answer too.
Deadline for entries: 15 August (Friday) @ midnight Australian time.
